About PromoWear Studio
Marietta Perera’s journey in Design began in 1992, when she started designing clothing and jewellery and was discovered by a well established Industrial Design company in Asia (Sri Lanka, Singapore, Japan) called Tajima Corporation. Whilst with Tajima she was trained to create artwork by drawings and drafting that converted into Digitizing on Computers, bringing designs to life and venturing to other forms of creativity with prints etc.
She moved to Toronto Canada in 1996 and worked for a well established Digitizing company where she won awards in the Stitches Creation Magazine. From there she moved to Vancouver BC in 2001 where she completed a Self Employment Program for Entrepreneurs at Douglas College. Shortly after she started her own business, Divine Digitizing, focusing on customized embroidery and printing which she successfully owned and operated for 20 yrs.
Over the years she had many loyal clients all across North America, who reached out to her for their promotional and embroidery needs. The difference that helped her longevity in business is the true customer service and going above and beyond.
Moving to Melbourne, Australia in 2022, Marietta worked for a well established promotional wear company as their Production Manager. As creativity is her passion and having the flexibility to do so, she launched a new venture PromoWear Studio in 2023.
I am grateful to my Faith and Family for their support over the years. I look forward to serving the Australian and Melbourne small business community by Promoting their image in the next chapter of this journey!
